With event set ups we’ve scaled some pretty large scaffold towers and erected double tiered marquees, so you could say we’ve worked from some ‘dizzying heights’ before! Therefore when we were first approached about this charity skydive, we felt that we would be ‘absolutely fine’. Then we really started looking into it.. And it was no easy decision for some of the team.. Especially our MD, Simon Brooks:
“The thought of putting my life in someone else’s hands whilst free falling for up to 2 miles at a mouthwatering 120mph makes my palms sweat! However, we all know that it’s for a worthwhile cause, scrap that, a fantastic cause, so we have, excuse the pun, jumped right in.”
There is no cure for autism, but with appropriate education, support or care and by making the world an easier place to understand, the impact of autism can be reduced and people with autism can be active citizens and can enjoy maximum independence and a good quality of life.
So, here we are, agreeing to help out an amazing charity by climbing into a tiny aeroplane at RAF South Cearny Swindon on the 30th April 2014, to find out exactly what Isaac Newton was on about.
