We believe in doing good through our work and we are always looking for ways to be better.
We’re proud to be working with a number of charities both to help raise awareness and funds through events. Annually, we work with several UK charities and partners including Diverse Abilities, MacMillan, Cancer Research UK and Julia’s House. Our efforts have helped raise a combined total of over £1,000,000+.
We also support local charity partners not only with our kit and expertise, but also with our time, through our volunteering programme. Our team are passionate about stepping away from our desks and providing practical support where we can.
We are also conscious of the environmental impact the events we plan have, which is why we actively promote the ban or reduction of plastic waste at client events. Where possible, we actively; reduce or ban the use of plastic straws, install event recycling operations, push for using recyclable food containers and cups and try to utilise water stations with recyclable cups or glass bottles rather than serving plastic water bottles. Where possible, we donate left over catering from event(s) to registered food banks and shelters.
On average over 23,300,000 straws, 16,000,000 water bottles and 7,000,000 coffee cups are used daily and over 2,500 tonnes of foodgoes to waste. Albeit small, we push to do our bit at all events that we manage and we work with clients and suppliers to do the same.
We hope that by being conscious of our actions we can start to make a small impact in the community around us.
